She Stories was founded in 2017 by Ehmandah Ramsey — speaker, community architect, and nonprofit leader — out of a deeply personal conviction: that every woman's story deserves to be heard.
As a survivor of domestic violence and single mother, Ehmandah knows firsthand what it means to lose your voice — and what it takes to reclaim it. Surrounded by women who poured into her during her darkest season, she rediscovered her worth and began to shine again. That experience planted a seed: what if every woman had a space like that?
What began as one storytelling night has grown into a movement — a community where women gather, share their truth, and rise into their power together. She Stories exists because healing happens in community, and no woman should have to carry her story alone.
